Target Audience

Target Audience

The target audience for my Thriller trailer is aged from 15 to 20 years old. I have chosen this target audience because this age bracket of people tends to enjoy films from the Thriller genre. My Thriller trailer is going to be about   3 girls that are close friends who prank call a lot of people, and later on in the Thriller one of the girls goes missing, and the other girls get strange phone calls from an unknown number, and they have to try and find their missing friend. This would appeal to my target audience because most 15 to 20 years old like to watch Thriller films with a bit of a twist in its storyline.

I have carried out research into the expectations of my target audience. My research has shown me that this audience expects to see fast music and action scenes within my Thriller trailer. Another thing my audience also expects is to see is the title of the Thriller film and long and close up shots. Another thing the audience expects to see is weapons, and be set in an alley or a big city like London.
